My Officiant Story . . .
My journey to the joy of being a wedding officiant began with my call to Christian ministry. I was 16 years old when I joined my first church. My pastor was a wonderful person. It was under his ministry that I felt the strong desire to serve God in the way he did. There came a special moment when I was conviced this was the will of God for my life. Even as a teenager I served the church in a number of ways--from the choir to assisting at the altar. After graduating high school, I earned a diploma in Bible and Theology and was licensed as a minister. Later, I was fully ordained, completing a B.A.. in Religion, an M.A. in Christian Ministry, and the Doctor of Ministry in Strategic Leadership. During my more than 35 years as a member of the clergy, I've served as a youth pastor, assistant pastor, and senior pastor, in the process, conducting countless weddings of every style. I'm authorized by my church body to conduct Christian-oriented marriages between a husband and wife and am registered as a clergy officiant in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Weddings remain for me one of the ministry's great privileges and a source of unique happiness. It is always a great honor to preside at a wedding. Should you choose me as your officiant, I promise you I will put my heart and my soul into complementing Your Day!
