Your Officiant
The Reverend Dr. Robert Schenck is an award-winning, 5-star officiant and
is an ordained protestant minister authorized to perform non-denominational, traditional, Christian-oriented, and interfaith/ interreligious wedding ceremonies. One of Rob's specialties is blending the two or more cultures that a couple may represent. He is registered in the District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia and meets the requirements for wedding officiants in all 50 states.

Dr. Schenck is affiliated with the Methodist Evangelical Church in the U.S.A., one of the oldest continuous lines of Methodists in North America. He holds degrees in Bible and Theology, Religion, Christian Ministry, and Church and State. He is a civilian chaplain and faculty member of the Miller Center for Interreligious Learning and Leadership. Dr. Schenck also sits on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations, has traveled extensively, and has been a Visiting Academic at Oxford University, U.K. Still, one of the things he enjoys most is joyfully celebrating with couples by tailoring wedding ceremonies to reflect their unique character, personalities, and styles.
